You’ve done it! You found us online! We’ve done it too! After a lot of hard work by a lot of people, we’ve launched an entirely new website and our first-ever blog. It wasn’t easy carving out time for our site when clients are paying us to enhance theirs, but I’m very proud of the new site and hope you like it, too. Please let me know what you think, won’t you?
You may already know Marketing Direct, Inc. (MDI) because you are a client, vendor or friend. You may not know us at all and were merely browsing for someone to help you with direct marketing. Regardless of how you got here, thanks for coming!
I thought my first blog post would be a good opportunity to tell you a little bit about the company, its history and focus. Don’t worry; I won’t spend too much time on us.
Better yet, this blog will become a repository of our experiences and how you can take advantage of them. So, I think it’s important for you to understand where we came from and who we’ve become.
My vision for MDI became possible in 1997 thanks to a small group of investors. Around the dining room table, I set out to create a direct marketing agency that could help health care insurance companies more effectively market their products. Today MDI has the largest portfolio of health care insurance clients in the industry. MDI has also worked with a number of other insurance and financial services companies, and we boast over 30 clients currently.
A multi-channel, direct marketing agency like MDI has a lot of parts, but we act as one team, and we accomplish exciting things together. I take great pride in our people, and taken individually, I believe each of our employees would add value to any organization. We have seasoned project managers, veteran production buyers, stellar creative directors, analytics gurus, technology visionaries and Internet savvy consultants.
As proud as I am of our people, I believe that our core values are even more important than our skills and experience. Words like accountability, integrity, relationships, relentless, champions and fun describe who we are at the core.
Even with all of these moving parts, MDI strives to keep one common purpose in every project we undertake: to reduce our client’s cost of acquiring new customers. For new clients we have consistently achieved a 20% to 30% reduction in their cost per acquisition (CPA).
Acting as one, integrated, multi-channel force to solve direct marketing problems isn’t always easy, but we’ve come up with an approach that leads to repeatable results and we’ve designed this website around that approach. Our site navigation headers are designed to let you know how we address our clients’ direct marketing challenges.
So, as you browse through the descriptions of our many parts, remember that the whole of Marketing Direct, Inc. is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.
